I love the Gasbye 95,it's powerful and seals great . Thanks for a great product.
We have 2 basements. One below the house and one below a 20 x 30 Shop. The shop basement is used as a Fitness Center. Out utility bill seemed inordinately high with the dehumidifier we were using. Our research indicated the Gasbye provided 25% to 30% efficiency improvement. We purchased 2 new machines. The utility bill was decreased. However, about 16 months after purchase, one of the machines exhibited an E3 error. An email was sent to the Sevice Team at Gasbye. Amy responded within 24 hours. We provided a picture of the error and the purchase receipt. Within the next 48 hours a replacement unit arrived at the house. This unit has been working flawlessly. Our thanks to Amy and the Gasbye team. Amy continued to follow-up to ensure our expectations were exceeded.
The dehumidifier has been working well this spring with no problems. The noise level is acceptable, considering it is in an open area in our family room.
They work perfectedly. Fit in the chamber and easy to use.
I’m pretty dang happy with it. Turned it on and in one 10 minutes run it cleared out all of the humidity. Haven’t had to turn it back on since. Runs a lot quieter than I expected also. The true test will be this summer but I’m pretty sure I made a great purchase. Don’t know why I waited so long to buy one. This is going to a Iife changer.
I love it. It's great. So easy and love how it cuts the bags to size. Works great. It's the 3rd sealer I've owned and it's way better than the others.
Very nice dehumidifier. Replaces an old 40 year Plus Sears Kenmore.
Not loud compared to the old one when dehumidifying. The fan does run all the time except in timer mode, not annoying though.
Pleased with the purchase.
Thanks for the kind words—glad to hear it’s running quieter than your old unit. Really appreciate you sharing your experience.
i’ve tried about three different vacuum seals. The main reason I got this one is the double seal and also the suction is nothing like anything else I’ve had owned. Also, the shutting mechanism is excellent. Don’t buy one without a double seal. You’ll regret it.
Glad to hear the double seal and strong suction are working well for you. The locking mechanism was something we spent a lot of time refining, so it’s great to know it’s making a difference in real use. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Our first use was to vacuum seal deer meat. It worked pretty well but couldn’t get all of the air out.
I love this chamber sealer! It’s light enough that I can move it by myself, compact so it doesn’t take up too much room but very powerful and deals like a much larger commercial unit.
This dehumidifier did the job of 2 dehumidifiers. Works very well. Saves money and works better.
Overall, a very good dehumidifier. Definitely the quietest dehumidifier I have owned in the last 20 years, and I have owned many different brands. As opposed to my previous dehumidifiers, I can watch TV in the same room while the Gasbye dehumidifier is working, something I was never able to do with other dehumidifiers. Very efficient too. Two smalls issues that prevented me to give it a 5 stars review. First, the buttons on tops don't seem to be perfectly aligned so that you need to press all around the buttons to activate them. Secondly, the humidity sensor is off by 7-8 degrees from the other 2 humidity sensors I have in the same room. So I just have to compensate for that. I can't comment yet on its durability as I only have owned the unit for 1 month, but its 2-year warranty is twice that of the other brands I have owned in the past, of which many have failed right after the 1 year warranty was over. So, I will just have to wait and see on that one.
Really like the machine I use if most everyday sealing leftovers, just wish it was a little deeper for jars.
Thanks for the feedback! Glad to hear it’s been working well for everyday sealing. Our 5.28QT chamber is great for large cuts of meat, big batches of soup, or a week’s worth of meal prep. We appreciate the note about jars—it’s great input for future improvements.
Tracking of my order was not updated - Amy contacted me and I received my unit promptly. It was well packed and triple boxed. It is more compact than I anticipated, which makes it fit easily on my roll around kitchen cart. Attractive enough to stay out and ready for use. I appreciate the accessory hose for canning jars and the spare heat strip and gasket.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Glad Amy was able to help and that your unit arrived quickly and well-protected. Appreciate you taking the time to leave such a detailed review.
I love my new vaccume sealer. It takes all the air out, seals it tight and it is so easy to use. I'm so glad i bought it.
The experience with my newly purchased Gasbye DryPrime 50 Dehumidifier has been nothing less than amazing. My customer service representitive, Amy, has given me outstanding service with all of my questions and solutions for the purchased unit meeting my needs. The clarity and quickness of responses for information and support was excellent. The Gasbye company has other great products such ans the Gasbye Vacuum Sealer Machine which I will be ordering shortly.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to hear that the DryPrime 50 has been working well for you. Appreciate your trust in Gasbye — and we’re excited that you’re considering our vacuum sealer as well. If you ever need anything, we’re always here to help. Thank you again for choosing Gasbye!
I feed raw dog food (raw ground meat and veggies) but don't make my own. Buying it in a 5 gallon bucket is FAR more economical (more than $2/lb cheaper) than buying it in small serving packs, but I learned long ago that I am too lazy to portion it all into containers to refreeze and use individually. It's not portioning it out that's the problem, it's cleaning up the containers daily. Enter the vacuum sealer. Similar to the food that comes in 1 or 2lb packs, now I can buy the much cheaper 5 gallon buckets and portion it into disposable vacuum packs myself. It more than pays for itself compared to ordering it already done for me. For my big dog, vacuum sealing myself saves over $4 per day!As far as the process goes, the chamber vacuum sealer gets out all the air - which is definitely needed for liquidy goopy meat like what I'm working with. The other type of vacuum sealer doesn't work as well on liquids and wet stuff like this.It comes with 11"x11" bags, but I did get some 1qt/8"x10" bags to split my meat into 2lb bricks since my dog eats 2lbs of food per day and the smaller packets are perfect for that. I used the included filler plate with the smaller bags. 38lbs made 19 bags of 2lb packets. I did the 60 second "marinate" pre cycle, then a 60 second vac&seal cycle which worked perfectly, as I wanted to freeze these and make stackable bricks. I will say, I did try one packet without the marinate cycle and it wasn't as tight feeling as the ones I did do that with, so I will continue to do the marinate, and then vac&seal, for wet ground meat like this. I threw the packets into the freezer and they all froze great and stackable.I think this would be great for people who hunt/fish or make big batches of sausage, soups, etc, because you can spend a day making everything then vacuum seal it all to keep in the freshness. Then freeze it. My husband likes to make crock pot "dips" for family gatherings and with the ability to vacuum seal, he can buy ingredients in bulk, portion them or the finished dip out into vacuum packets, and freeze the extra for later dates.Really my only complaint (and it's not their fault) about this vacuum sealer is it's kind of bulky and hard to find a place to store it in my small house. It's a similar size to other small appliances. The outer size and inner chamber sizes are in the product picture gallery. The unit feels/looks VERY well made, with stainless steel and glass, so it is heavy. Also, just be aware this unit does make a loud sound (like an air compressor), only during the cycles. It comes with extra parts AND everything is labeled to tell you what it is and what it's for - really nice touch!
Dehumidifier arrived quicker than expected with good communication and no damage. Product was packaged extremely well. After the 24 hours rest period, unit was plugged in and started. All modes have worked perfectly and humidistat seems quite accurate. Unit appears to be very solid and well made. Basement felt much drier after only 1 night of operation.
Thank you so much for your feedback! We’re glad to hear your unit arrived safely and is performing well. It’s great to know you’ve already noticed the difference after just one night — that’s exactly the result we aim for. Appreciate your trust in Gasbye.
Made a great decision with this dehumidifier. Our basement humidity was getting into the high 80s. It took about 48 hours before this machine dropped it to 55%. Now it runs on and off intermittently keeping everything at 55/60 down there without a problem. I think we will get a second one for another area of the house. The set up was very easy, and you can tell from the packaging materials that a lot of care went into this machine. Easy to understand the instructions, very easy to read the manual.
I can't really do a true evaluation because I've only had the dehumidifier for less than a month, but I can honestly say my basement smells so much better. That damp moldly smell is gone. It was so easy to set up, and included a small hose for water drainage and a garden hose adapter for a lengthy hose. I love that it is very quiet and that it gives several options for how you would like your dehumidifier to run (continously, cycle on and off or using the timer). The only drawback was the warranty website, which did not work for me.
I have never owned a Vacuum sealer before so I did a lot of research and picked this one because of the good reviews and the price. I have to say the reviews didn't lie, it's very easy to use, lightweight and does a great job at sealing.I have used it for my fresh vegetables, bulk meat from the store.I would highly recommend this Vacuum sealer.
Works great and is very quiet. Finally, a dehumidifier with pump that is well designer, well built, and works as advertised. I needed a dehumidifier with pump because I do not have floor drain for using the usual gravity drain and I do not want emptying the bucket when it is full. I first tried a model from Midea but it was too bulky, noisy, and had a bad/weak pump (will not drain water fully, almost 2/3rd water remained). I returned that and got this one and what a difference! The noise level is no more than a small desk fan (compared to the other one whose noise level was closer to kitchen exhaust). The best part is that the pump is designed to empty most of the bucket (there will always be some water left). The unit is really well designed and well built. I am using about 4 ft of rise and the water comes out in good volume and pressure. The support team is awesome (you do get responses within a day and understand what you need help with). Highly recommended.
I just received the Gasbye DryPrime-50-B Dehumidifier - I am really impressed! And . . NO, the manufacturer did not give me a financial or any other kind of incentive to write this review. After spending over an hour comparing the different models available on Amazon, I noticed that this had the most drying capacity of ALL the large units I looked at (115 pints/day at 86°F). Additionally, they add an anti-corrosion coating to the inside of their copper tubing to extend its working life. This unit is more quiet than the one it is replacing that died. Also, there are little things that they didn't need to add that tells me thoughtful designing went into this: a cord reel with a socket for the plug so it isn't dangling, retractable handle, instructional sticker on the user interface, great packing materials, an adaptor so the drain tube can be secured into a garden hose for additional length beyond the 5 foot tubing included. The other thing that I am aware of is quality - everyone advertises this BUT there is no way to tell if it is more than just a good sales pitch. The unit feels solid and has the some of the very best ratings on amazon (5 stars at 81% and 4 stars at 10%). They double Amazon's 30 day return policy, financially guarantee prompt service when you contact them and extend the 1 year warranty a full extra year! The only way a company can do those things is if it is absolutely sure it won't have to repair anything - in other words, quality is the only reason that can be offered. Hopefully this review cuts down on other people's time in choosing a quality dehumidifier.
This portable AC is a life saver! We live in south Florida and I swear every summer gets hotter. Our AC cannot keep up and the temperature in the house ends up around 84 degrees. I bought this portable AC to see if it could at least help our house stay somewhat cooler. I went through every portable AC sold on amazon, walmart and sams club. This was the largest unit I could find and figure that the dual hosing would be helpful. We put it in our living room. Our house has a completely open concept with the living room, dining room and kitchen in one large space. We also have a sloped ceiling so the space is very large. We have had this product for about a month and this thing is a beast! I do have to turn it on its "turbo mode" but it keeps the temperature in the living room at 73 degrees when working with our regular central AC. It has a very strong flow of air that comes out of it. The company stands behind their product for 3 years, which in my eyes tells me that this is a durable product. We needed extra window fitting, because our window is very long, and the company responded very quickly and send the needed parts within 5 days. No brainer, get the AC!
